Itinerary: Tours Booking Form
Day 1: 3 August 2009 :
Depart Australia for Los Angeles/ San Fransisco. On arrival in the US after clearing customs continue on to Las Vegas. (Flights).
Accomodation in Las Vegas: The Flamingo Hilton 3 Nights 30 July – 1 August.
Days 2 & 3: 4 & 5 August 2009:
Las Vegas at leisure. Check out the fabulous Las Vegas Casinos. Catch a show or two. Or why not take a tour to the Grand Canyon, Boulder Dam, Monument Valley or a Colorado River rafting experience.

Day 4: 6 August 2009: Depart Las Vegas to New Orleans (Flight)
Accomodation in the Le Richelieu in the historical French Quarter, a short walk from Bourbon Street. Dates 5 – 7 August. ( Remember whilst in New Orleans to check out the Bourbon Street night life)
Day 5 & 6: 7 & 8 August 2009:
2 Days to explore the French Quarter.
Take a walk through Jackson Square and other French Quarter venues where Elvis filmed "King Creole". Jim will host a walking tour of the locations were King Creole was filmed, as well as the best restaurants and music venues in town. Take in the nightlife of Bourbon Street and enjoy the Dixieland Jazz and Cajun music. Enjoy a Creole or Cajun meal. Ride down the Mississippi on a paddlesteamer. Tour the nearby ante-bellum (pre Civil War) plantation homes or the bayou country. Maybe visit the Chalmette Battlefield where Andy Jackson won the famous battle of New Orleans on 8 January 1815. Go to the Confederate Museum, which houses the largest collection of Confederate uniforms, artefacts, etc outside of Richmond, Virginia.

Day 7: 9 August 2009: Depart New Orleans by Coach to Vicksburg.
Accomodation 2 Nights at the Battlefield Inn. Dates 8 & 9 August.
Today we travel by coach from New Orleans to Vicksburg for a two-night stay at the Battlefield Inn. On today's coach trip we will travel through the Louisiana Bayou Countryincluded is a vist to down town Vicksburg for a view of it's old world charm. Vicksburg was the birthplace also of CocaCola. This afternoon Wayne will host a walking tour of the Vicksburg Battlefield, the scene of some of the most ferocious fighting in the American Civil War
Day 8: 10 August 2009:
Sightseeing tour by coach to Shreveport for group. Visit Shreveport’s Elvis sights. (Note: Elvis played a very large number of concerts in Shreveport, the home of the Louisiana Hayride, Elvis Presley Avenue and the New Elvis Statue) this is one place that not many fan clubs visit.
Day 9: 11 August 2009:
Depart Vicksburg to Memphis by coach.
Today we travel by coach from Vicksburg to Memphis.
On today's coach trip we will also visit Tupelo, Mississippi (Elvis' Birthplace) where sufficient time will be given to tour the birthplace and museum as well as seeing some beautiful American countryside.
Accomodation 7 Nights at Clarion Hotel Memphis Airport, 1471 E Brooks Road. Dates 10 – 16 August.
Day 10: 12 August 2009:
12-hour tour of Elvis sights in Memphis including Sun Records and Humes High School with sufficient time given for you to tour inside if you like. Lunch at one of the restaurants available on Beale Street (own cost).
Day 11 to 14: 13 – 17 August 2009:
Well, this is what you have come to see - 'Elvis Week' - and your are in the heart of it. A short walk to Graceland to see all the activities of Elvis week. Next door to a number of the Convention Hotels to visit and do some serious souvenir hunting.
There will be a number of Elvis related events happening in Memphis. Prior to the tour departure in early 2007, tour participants will receive a booklet containing all Memphis events and we will be happy to assist you in obtaining tickets to any desired events.
Day 15: 18 August 2009: Depart Memphis for Los Angeles then on to Anaheim.
Accomodation at Fairfield Inn Anaheim 3 Nights. Dates 17 – 19 August.
Day 16 & 17. 19 , 20 & 21 August 2009:
(Please Note: We have an early evening departure from Anaheim to LA International airport for our departure home on 21 August). Anaheim at leisure. We have included a one-day Disneyland pass in the tour cost which you may wish to upgrade to a 3 day pass or, alternatively, why not visit Hollywood, Universal Studios, Tijuana, Mexico etc. or other LA sights.
